The Institute for Criminal Justice Healthcare (ICJH) works to educate:

  • legislators
  • legislative staff members
  • and lobbyists in the criminal justice profession 
 . . . concerning healthcare initiatives from arrest to re-entry for its offender population.  ICJH has worked toward exposure of issues that often have not been made available to legislative bodies.

The Institute has made presentations to legislative groups in formal programs as well as one-on-one contact with members of Congress and Congressional staff.  ICJH continues to educate the legislative branch of local, state and federal governments about the critical importance of total healthcare within the criminal justice systems.
