collaboration among researchers, public health officials, criminal justice
professionals and technology solution and healthcare providers for the criminal justice population.

Evaluation
The
Institute is committed to bridging the gap between research and practice
in public health, corrections and criminal justice. Our experienced staff
works closely with agencies, organizations and other professionals working
in the criminal justice system to provide comprehensive research and evaluation

Our
team of producers, journalists, animators, scriptwriters, videographers,
editors, musicians and lighting technicians build cutting edge peer and
staff education programs, interactive safety programs, public service announcements,
fundraising videos, documentaries, industrial programs and promotional
programs. Most recently, ICJH produced 2 Hepatitis Awareness Videos
for Offenders and Staff under an unrestricted educational grant from
The American Correctional Association.
Curriculum
Development
ICJH
understands that content is a critical component of any successful training
program. ICJH assists agencies to develop exemplary curricula based on
current scientific research as well as industry practices.
And,
because of our strong technology expertise, we can easily blend your curriculum
into cdrom, web based training, video or other mutlimedia platforms.
Educational
and Training Materials
While
ICJH aggressively implements new technologies, we also understand that
the written word is still an integral part of the learning process. ICJH's
writing and marketing staff provide assistance with brochure creation as
well as developing education pamphlets, workbooks and other printed training
and educational materials for offenders.
Presentation
/ Expert Panels
The
ICJH staff has nearly 3 decades of experience in the criminal justice and
healthcare industries developing networks of healthcare experts, justice
administrators, juvenile specialists, public health professionals, technology
solution providers and key corrections practitioners. Our network reaches
throughout the 50 states as well as Internationally, to promote "a total approach" to healthcare in the criminal justice population.
Seminars
and Workshops
ICJH
works one-on-one with entities to develop and coordinate their own custom
workshops that are interactive, innovative and provide tangible working
solutions for practitioners. We assist with theme and content development,
panel coordination and final presentation.
Grant
and Proposal Writing / Fundraising
ICJH
assist entities with grant and proposal writing as well as fundraising
efforts. We believe through partnerships and strategic alliances, we can
provide a qualified team and the expertise to develop a competitive proposal.
Research
Pavilions and Forums
Every
year ICJH brings together the industry's exemplary practices and innovations
by providing annual education research forums in conjunction with key industry
conferences. These dramatic high-tech pavilions (see photo below) focus
on emerging issues and enable treatment and security staff, correctional
administrators, public health professionals and community leaders to exchange
ideas, network and build partnerships for the advancement of correctional health for offenders.
An
80 sq. foot Research Pavilion featuring, 4 plasma video screens
and 10 computer kiosks with the latest research and educational projects.
Sitting areas are designed to encourage networking while educational cdroms
and pamphlets were made available for practitioners. |
